Independent thinking.
Practical websites.

We started Offgrid Creative with a simple belief: a small business deserves a website that works as hard as the people behind it.

(01) Our approach

Business first.

We design and build websites for small businesses that don’t have a marketing department down the hall. We handle the thinking, the design, and the build — and explain each decision in plain English.

Offgrid Creative is based in Zimbabwe and works remotely with small businesses in the United States. Distance doesn’t change how we work: we agree on scope in writing, share progress at every stage, and make sure you always know what’s happening and what we need from you.

Our name is a nod to how we like to work: question the default, look for the better route, and never add complexity a business doesn’t need. A website should help customers understand you, trust you, and take the next step — everything we make starts there.

Principles we won’t trade.

01

Clarity over decoration.

If a customer can’t tell what you do within a few seconds, the design isn’t finished. We edit until the message is obvious.

02

Built for real phones.

Many of your customers will meet you on a small screen, often in a hurry. We design for that moment first.

03

Plain-English partnership.

No jargon and no black boxes. We explain what we recommend, why it matters, and what happens next.

04

Honest promises.

We won’t guarantee rankings or leads. We will build a site designed to earn trust and make it easy to act.

05

Independent thinking.

The usual way isn’t always the right way for your business. We question defaults and look for the better route.

Built for busy businesses.
